In 2024 , we donated over 19,000 tonnes of our product to FareShare; the UK’s longest running food redistribution charity. FareShare was born out of the belief that no good food should go to waste, especially when people are going hungry, which is why at Edwards we support the charity.
Throughout the year, our donations have provided the equivalent to over 50,000 meals to those who need it. This includes people experiencing homelessness, asylum seekers and refugees, children and community groups for the elderly.
Redistributing food that would otherwise be wasted, not only helps those who need it, it also helps the environment. Our donation has prevented over 90 tonnes of CO2e from being wasted.
