Our Story
Master Butcher
In 1983 farmers son Ieuan Edwards decided to leave the family farm to become a butcher. He served an apprenticeship in the beautiful market town of Llanrwst, before training in Switzerland and Holland to become a Master Butcher.

Training complete and inspired by a passion for great tasting food he filled his shop in Conwy with only the best award-winning delights.
Award-Winning
Over the last 40 years, our shop has won numerous awards, including “Britain’s Best Butcher” and “Best Butchers Shop in Wales”.
Supermarket launch
In 2004 we decided to share our award-winning products and expertise further afield. We first started selling through ASDA and the other major retailers soon followed.
To meet the growing demand we expanded into a production facility beneath Conwy mountain.
Accolades
Fast forward to today and we’re proud to say Edwards is a firm family favourite on tables throughout Wales and beyond
Our products have won numerous awards, including Great Taste Awards, a Good Housekeeping prize and many more.
