Traditional Pork Sausage and bean casserole
Ingredients
- 6 Traditional Pork Sausages
- 4 rashers smoked streaky bacon
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 small carrot, diced
- 400g tin haricot beans, drained
- 1 tbsp English mustard
- 1 tbsp soft light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 200ml chicken stock
- Handful of spinach
Cooking Instructions
- Heat the oven to 200⁰C/fan. Fry the sausages in a little oil in a casserole dish until brown. Remove the sausages, then add the bacon, onion and carrot and cook until browned.
- Add the remaining ingredients, season and stir well.
- Return the cooked sausages to the casserole, cover and bake for 30 minutes.
- Add the spinach and allow to cook for 2 minutes, then serve.
