Our Welsh Lamb Merguez Sausages are made using succulent Welsh Lamb, combined perfectly with herbs, spices, paprika and harissa paste for a mouth-watering sausage full of flavour.

We only ever use Welsh lamb which has protected geographical indication. This means it has come only from lamb born and bred in Wales, who have benefited from our unique climate and landscape giving the meat a distinctive flavour. Look out for the Welsh Lamb PGI logo which provides assurance of where our meat comes from.

Cooking Instructions

For best results cook from chilled. Remove all packaging.

All appliances vary, the following are guidelines only. Not suitable for microwaving.

To Grill - Place under a preheated medium-hot grill for 14-16 mins, turning regularly.

To Fry - Heat a little oil in the pan. Fry on a medium heat for 14-16 mins, turning regularly.

To Oven Bake - Place on an oven tray, cook in the centre of a preheated oven at 190°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 5 for 24-29 mins, turning halfway.

11 - 13

To Air Fry - Preheat the air fryer to 170°C. Place in a single layer and cook for 11-13 minutes, turn halfway through cooking.

After cooking ensure the product is piping hot and no pink colour remains.

Welsh Lamb (80%), Gluten Free Breadcrumb (Rice Flour, Gram Flour, Maize Starch, Salt, Dextrose), Water, Harissa Paste (Water, Rapeseed Oil, Red Peppers, Tomato Paste, Sugar, Onion, Red Pepper Powder, Garlic Purée, Modified Waxy Maize Starch, Spices, Lemon Concentrate, Salt, Smoked Paprika, Chilli, Paprika Extract, Preservative (Potassium Sorbate)), Seasoning (Spices, Salt, Yeast Extract, Emulsifier (Tri Sodium Diphosphates), Garlic Powder, Red Pepper, Chilli, Preservative (Sodium Metabisulphite), Herbs, Antioxidant (Ascorbic Acid), (Paprika Extract), Red Pepper, Red Chilli, Onion, Garlic, Parsley. Filled into a Beef Collagen Casing.

Storage Instructions

  • Keep refrigerated below 4°C, once open use within 2 days and do not exceed the use by date.
  • This product may have previously been frozen and defrosted, further freezing will not affect quality.
  • Freeze on day of purchase & use within one month. Defrost thoroughly before cooking & use same day. Once defrosted do not re-freeze.
