Marmalade Glazed Sausage Bites

Marmalade Glazed Sausage Bites are the perfect party snack, especially with pretzel sticks as an edible and environmentally friendly alternative to cocktail sticks.

Our Traditional Pork Sausages are made using only the finest cuts of British Shoulder of Pork, delicately seasoned for a flavoursome and succulent sausage.

When it comes to pork, we source only the finest cuts of Red Tractor British Pork. This gives the meaty taste our customers love.

Ingredients

  • 6 Edwards Traditional Sausages
  • Marmalade (we used Radnor Preserves Smoky Campfire Marmalade)
  • Pretzel sticks

Cooking Instructions

  • Cut your Edwards Sausages into 5 pieces per sausage, then place on a greaseproof paper lined baking tray. Cook in a pre-heated oven at 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas Mark 6 for 15 minutes.
  • Whilst the sausages are cooking, mix the Radnor Preserves Campfire Marmalade and the water in a large bowl.
  • After 15 minutes in the oven, remove the sausages and tip them into the bowl of marmalade. Stir the sausages through the marmalade, ensuring that they are well covered. Place the sausages back on the tray and return to the oven for 8 minutes.
  • Once cooked, remove the sausages from the oven. Then skewer your pretzel sticks into each sausage. If you have long pretzel sticks, snap them in half (or to cocktail stick size) and skewer a half into each sausage. let them cool slightly before serving, so they don't burn anyone's mouths.
