Black Pudding and Sausage Meat sausage rolls

Indulge in the rich, savoury flavour of our Black Pudding Sausage Rolls, crafted with premium Traditional Pork Sausage Meat and Black Pudding Slices. These sausage rolls combine the succulent texture of seasoned pork with the deep, notes of black pudding, all wrapped in flaky golden pastry. Perfect for picnics,  they’re a hearty twist on a classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 x sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 350g Edwards Traditional Pork Sausage Meat
  • 4 Slices Edwards Black Pudding
  • 1 egg, to glaze

Cooking Instructions

  • 1. Remove the puff pastry from the fridge, allowing it to reach room temperature.
  • 2. Put the sausage meat into a large bowl and crumble in the Black Pudding slices.
  • 3. Place the sheet of puff pastry on a greased oven tray
  • 4. Place the sausage meat mixture down the center of the pastry to create a long log.
  • 5. Fold over the pastry before glazing with the beaten egg.
  • 6. Cut into 6 sausage rolls and place in preheated oven. Cook for 20 minutes or until the pastry has risen and is golden brown.
