Our Welsh Beef Steak Burgers are proudly made using succulent Welsh Beef steak, delicately seasoned for an award-winning burger – big on flavour and bite.

We only ever use Welsh Beef which has protected geographical indication. This means it has come only from cattle born and bred in Wales, who have benefited from our unique climate and landscape giving the meat a distinctive flavour. Look out for the Welsh Beef PGI logo which provides assurance of where our meat comes from.

  • 2 Edwards Welsh Beef Steak Burgers
  • 1 large round loaf of bread
  • 50g salted butter
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely grated or chopped
  • 2 tbsp of parsley, chopped
  • 40g mozzarella, sliced
  • 100g grated cheese

Cooking Instructions

  • Put the butter, garlic and parsley in a mixing bowl and stir together until well combined. Place in the fridge to harden before slicing later.
  • Place a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and gently fry the burgers, as per the pack instructions.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas Mark 6. Place the bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cut lines into the bread diagonally, about three-quarters into the depth of the bread, then turn and repeat diagonally so you have a diamond criss-cross pattern.
  • Slice the garlic butter and burgers. Stuff the garlic butter into the cuts, followed by the mozzarella and burger.
  • Sprinkle with the grated cheese and salt and bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the butter and cheese have melted - then tear ‘n’ share!
